  1. Stir milk and apple cider vinegar together. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350C. Spray your 12-muffin tray with a non-stick spray. You can also use olive oil and a paper towel to oil up your muffin tray. Or you can line your trays with muffin cup liners.
  3. Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder together.
  4. Mix apple sauce, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together.
  5. Combine milk with the apple sauce, brown sugar and vanilla extract mixture.
  6. Add the mixture combined above with the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder). Stir until fully incorporated. Pour into the muffin tray.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Then enjoy!
