  1. Add 1tbsp. of olive oil on a large skillet. Brown ground beef over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes. Drain most of the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper and red peppers. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions.
  2. Add onions and garlic. Mix into ground beef and cook until fragrant for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup cane sugar, 1-2tbsp. chili garlic sauce. Simmer for a couple of minutes and allow all the flavours to blend.
  4. Add 2 cups of mushrooms and cook until tender. Serve on top of brown or white rice and enjoy.
